Good Sense

The stupidity of a person turns his life upside down, and his heart rages against the Lord. A person who gains sense loves himself. One who guards understanding finds something good. A person with good sense is patient, and it is to his credit that he overlooks an offense. Many plans are in the human heart, but the advice of the Lord will endure. (Proverbs 19:3, 8, 11, 21 GWT)

Common sense isn’t really so common. And yet… we keep looking to others- their opinions, acceptance, and earth-bound advice- for direction and approval. Why?! God’s acceptance, His approval and the Lord’s wisdom are far more valuable. It just makes good sense to go to Him first. ©tkbeyonddevo2012
