We must pay close attention to what we have heard. Then we won’t drift away [from the truth]. The message the angels brought was reliable...every violation and...disobedience was properly punished. So how will we escape punishment if we reject the important message, that God saved us? First, the Lord told this saving message. Then those who heard him confirmed [it]. God verified [it] through miraculous signs, amazing things, powerful acts, and with other gifts from the Holy Spirit as he wanted. (Hebrews 2:1-4 GW)
This warning of rejecting God's grace is solemn. If we ignore God's message of love that was heard and confirmed, no other true option exists. ©Word-Strong_2013
