His disciples came to him and said, “This is a desolate place... Send [the people] away to... buy themselves something to eat.” But he answered, “You give them something to eat. How many loaves do you have? Go and see." ...they said, “Five, and two fish.” And taking the five loaves and two fish he looked up to heaven... said a blessing... broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples to set before the people. And he divided the two fish among them all. And they all ate and were satisfied. (Mark 6:35-38, 41, 42 ESV)
Jesus saw the need of the people and fed them. The disciples, like us, wanted to send them away. Lord, may we have your heart for the people around us. ©Word-Strong_2014
